On the studio floor
A sampling of unusual projects now being created in our custom
services department

Monk's Hill Island
 |
|
One side of a kitchen island, just before the final (of 4!)
glaze coat is about to be applied. One of our unique Monk's Hill setback
islands, with the notched cabinets that create an amazing furniture look. Ultra
custom, and ultra beautiful.

Scroll shelf
 |
A small wall-mounted shelf, with scroll volutes. Honduras
Mahogany solids and veneers, hand carved throughout. |
| |
|
Curved bar
 |
The final finish on this bar will be silverleaf and glaze, but
for now, the curves can be appreciated in their own right.

A coffee table safe at 250 mph
 |
Mahogany. Maple. Carbon Fiber.
The materials from the
infancy of auto racing to its vanguard. This table shown before it receives its
polyurethane clearcoat.
And yes, it was ordered by the racing division
of a major automotive manufacturer. We don't always come up with this stuff on
our own! |

Come on back, they'll be more next month, or sooner if the mood
strikes me!
