The project: an Art Nouveau mirror and wall-hung shelf in American
Black Walnut and 24k gold leaf.
It is always a joy to work with the
sensuous lines and incredible challenge of working in the
Stile Liberty.
Here the whiplash curve meanders its way around the interior of a rounded
frame. Both feature genuine gold leaf intricately layed into shallow
channels.
The shelf below is supported by six walnut arms that curve, twist and
stretch their way from the base to the shelf above.
