The project: 16 Art Nouveau closet doors in stunning American Black
Walnut with mirrored panels.
Everything had to be just right, from the
absolute straightness of the extra tall, extra slender 96" stiles, to the
strength of the delicate, sensual curved inserts that carry the Art Nouveau
motif. These doors define the word
challenging; hung into their
openings without casing to hide the jamb transitions, without astragal to hide
the door gaps, without
anything to hide
anything. Now we know how
it feels to do a nude scene!
